I actually only managed to sleep in my room once, because the midnight curfew kept me locked out until 6am or so. Andrew, from USA ~ 23rd Sep 2009

This is not the place you want to stay if you're looking for the normal hostel, with a common room and the ability to hang out with other people. It's pretty much just a hotel with tiny rooms. However, it's really clean, and definitely worth the pricing :) We enjoyed staying a lot. Lauren, from USA ~ 31st Jul 2009

Regular hotel, but with Japanese-style accomodations. Sleep on hard mat on the floor with a rice pillow. Only two showers for the entire 9-floor facility, and need a key from the front desk to get into them. No hot water. Otherwise clean, rooms have TV. Internet in lobby, costs 100 yen per 15 minutes. Very near the subway station and train station, so it is well connected to attractions. Nicole, from USA ~ 20th Jun 2009

You get what you pay for and this place is very cheap. Midnight curfew was an annoyance Read Owner Comments Gareth, from Wales ~ 6th Dec 2008

This is not a 'fun' hostel, or a place where you can expect to meet and socialize with fellow travelers. Located just a couple of subway stops from the center, in a pretty rough and ready area that gives you look at the side of Japan less talked about, although, being Japan, still safe relative to most countries. What the hotel does give is a private room at a very cheap price - their are no pretensions of luxury, but the reception is helpful and English speaking. A very good budget op cameron, from New Zealand ~ 25th Jan 2009
